+1 Stone Skipping Leveling Guide: Skill, Levels & Multiplier

How +1 Stone Skipping turns +1 Skill per bounce into levels and a rising global multiplier, plus the levers and observed milestones that speed up leveling.

Quick answer

Every bounce of your stone pays +1 Skill — the base rate stated in the official game description. That Skill fills your level bar, and each level raises a global multiplier on your gains. Longer throws reach more bounces, so throw distance is itself a Skill-gain lever.

  • +1 Skill per bounce is the base rate; the training levers below multiply gains on top of it
  • Skill fills the level bar — every level-up ticks the global Multiplier up
  • Skill is the whole engine: more of it means longer throws, farther zones, and more Wins banked

From throw to level-up: how the loop works

The whole job is to throw, collect Skill from every bounce, and let the level bar fill:

Roadmap

  1. 1

    Throw

Send your stone skipping down the lane. Every bounce pays +1 Skill, and longer throws reach more bounces.

    • Aim for distance so each throw collects Skill from more bounces
  2. 2

    Level up

Skill fills the level bar, and each level raises your global Multiplier.

    • Watch the blue level bar tick toward the next level as Skill lands
  3. 3

    Reach level 20

The tutorial's first target: on spawn, a yellow TUTORIAL banner reads “REACH LEVEL 20” with a live progress counter (for example 14/20).

    • The tutorial first asks for 30 Skill, then holds you to level 20 before rebirth
    • A fresh account observed on 2026-09-26 was level 14 within its first minute — expect minutes, not hours

What the HUD shows and how the multiplier scales

Comparison

Comparison
HUD elementWhat it isObserved example
Skill (yellow bolt)The currency you earn from bounces and levels. Drives your level bar.“58 SKILL” early; millions later
Level bar (blue, stud texture)Current level and progress to the next. Each level-up ticks your multiplier up.“Level 6 — 8/10”; “Level Up! [x8]”
MultiplierA global multiplier on your gains that climbs with level.×1.1 at level 6 → ×111 at level 115

The multiplier's scaling is known from observed HUD data points, not a published formula: ×1.1 at level 6, climbing to ×111 at level 115. It is described as a global, level-driven multiplier on your gains, and no per-level growth rate is documented — recheck these values after balancing changes.

Efficient training: the levers that multiply Skill gains

Tips

Stand on unlocked spawn pads

Right where you spawn sit long colored pads, each marked with a number and a multiplier. Standing on an unlocked pad multiplies every Skill gain while you throw there — the visible payoff of rebirthing, compounding into faster levels, a bigger multiplier, and longer throws. The round pink-blue rebirth-count icon in the HUD gates the multiplier pads at spawn.

Use the instant-skill buttons

Under the level bar sit three chunky buttons that grant instant Skill. Tiers scale with your progress — +10K / +100K / +1M early, up to +10M / +100M / +1B late — each priced with a small green coin icon (observed values 5/20/40 early, rising to 25/95/185 late; the coin's exact currency wasn't readable at capture resolution).

Redeem Skill Potions

A Skill Potion bumps the stat that grows every time your stone kisses the water, so later throws travel farther before they sink. Working codes drop Skill Potions among other rewards.

Throw farther

Longer throws reach more bounces, and every bounce pays +1 Skill — so throw distance itself is a Skill-gain lever.

Observed leveling pace and the late-game slowdown

Early leveling is fast: level 20 in minutes, with level 35 arriving within the second minute of one observed session. One creator took a fresh account to level 115 with 22.34M Skill and 5 rebirths in a 14-minute session, the multiplier at ×111 by that point — but that run included boosts and premium purchases, so treat it as a pace anecdote, not a rule. Progress then steepens sharply: after reaching roughly 1 million Skill, the narration in that footage notes being "not even close to level up because we need level 100 still," and later calls it "so hard to make 125 levels." These pace figures come from commentary over gameplay, not documentation, so keep the dates and conditions attached — the observations here run 2026-09-24 through 2026-09-28 — and recheck them after balancing changes.

Two panels of official art: the same character throwing at level 1 and again at a very high level, where each bounce of the stone now pops huge Skill gains
The same throw at two points in a run: early on every bounce pays +1, and a maxed-out account turns each skip into a much bigger payout.

Level milestones tied to rebirth

Mistakes to avoid

Problem
Expecting rebirth to open before level 20
Fix
Level 20 — the tutorial target — is where observed gameplay footage first shows rebirth becoming available (“after level 20, we can rebirth, I believe”).
Problem
Assuming every rebirth gates at the same level
Fix
In one observed session, level 60 arrived very quickly right after claiming post-rebirth rewards, and level 80 was stated as the requirement for the next rebirth; narration describes steeply rising requirements around levels ~100–125+. These gates come from creator observation, not official documentation, and requirements appear to escalate rather than follow a fixed rule.
Problem
Reading the Rebirth button's percentage badge as a level counter
Fix
The badge was observed at 70%, 86%, and 88% at different moments and fills as you play, but what exactly fills it — levels, Skill, wins, or a mix — wasn't readable in the available footage. Plan around the in-game badge itself rather than any formula.

Once leveling is no longer your main bottleneck, the spawn pads unlocked through rebirth become the biggest Skill lever — that's the signal to plan your rebirth route as the next layer of growth.
