+1 Stone Skipping Boosts Guide: Bonuses, Sources, Durations & Combining
Friend Boost adds +10% while a friend is in the server (+0% without); timed 2x Skill and 2x Win boosts run on countdown chips, with 10-minute Skill boosts reported. See each boost's bonus, source, and duration, and how boosts run together.
The progression boosts currently observed in +1 Stone Skipping are Friend Boost (+10% while a friend is in the server, +0% without), timed 2x Skill and 2x Win boosts that appear as countdown chips in the HUD, premium +2x SKILL / +3x SKILL / +2x WINS buttons, Skill and Win Potions from codes, a luck boost from the timed gifts wall, and pets, which the game bills as the official passive boost layer ("Collect pets for powerful boosts!"). Several boosts can run at the same time — a 2x Skill and a 2x Win boost have been used together in one session — but no stacking formula is documented, so plan for overlapping uptime rather than a known combined multiplier.

Friend Boost: +10% with a friend in the server, +0% without
Friend Boost is a standing HUD element — the game describes it as "A bonus when a friend is in the server." The observed values are +10% with a friend in the server and +0% without one, and the same figure is repeated as a "+10% passive bonus while a friend is in the server." No description ties the +10% to a specific stat — Skill, Wins, or overall gains — so treat it exactly as labeled: a +10% bonus under the friend-present condition, and nothing broader. Invite a friend before a grind session and the element should flip from +0% to +10% on its own.
Timed 2x Skill and 2x Win boosts: effects and countdown chips
Active timed boosts show as chips in the bottom-right of the HUD with live countdowns — 2x Skill chips observed from 18m24s down to 11m14s, and 2x Win chips at 5m28s and 1m18s. The Skill side's effect is confirmed in play: claiming a gift produced "10 minutes. Oh, double the skill" — doubled Skill gain, the stat that grows with every bounce. One run obtained and used both types in a single session ("we can go ahead and get our 2x skills here... And then our 2x win should help us out as well here, too"), and a code reward added "that skill and win potion." The 2x Win chip doubles Wins, the trophy currency earned by throw distance.
Buying boosts: shop entry and premium buttons
Wins are described as the trophy currency "you spend on pets, boosts and progress toward the next rebirth," and a boost entry does exist inside the Shop — one capture points at it directly: "This here is what is also in the shop here, the boost." On the purchase side, the HUD's right edge shows a STARTER PACK offer and green boost buttons observed as "+2x SKILL" priced 2–3, "+3x SKILL" priced 19, and "+2x WINS" priced 25–50. These are premium offers, and their exact contents beyond the labels were not shown. The numeric prices also varied between sessions, and while the game elsewhere names Wins as the currency you spend on boosts, these buttons are presented as premium offers — the two descriptions haven't been reconciled. Check what a button actually charges in-game before tapping.
Skill and Win Potions from codes
Working codes (September 2026) drop potion boosts alongside other rewards. The three active codes are case-sensitive:
- WELCOME — 1 Skill Potion, 1 Win Potion
- WORLD3 — 1 Skill Potion, 1 Common Egg
- THANKYOU — 1 Win Potion, 4 Wins
Of the two potions, only the Skill Potion has a described effect: "A Skill Potion bumps the stat that grows every time your stone kisses the water, so later throws travel farther before they sink." The Win Potion's exact in-game behavior is not separately described, so watch your stats after redeeming to see what it does.

Free boost sources: playtime rewards, gifts wall, claim chest
Tips
Playtime free rewards
Popup free rewards can land mid-progression — one observed run received a 2x skill boost this way: “Oh, I got some free rewards. 2x skill boost.”
Timed gifts wall
A time-gated wall of Skill and Wins reward tiers unlocks as you play, and gift rewards include boosts: one claimed gift delivered the 10-minute double-skill boost, another was held back as an uncertain win boost (“I'm going to use my gift for I don't know how much win boost”), and one gave a luck boost kept for “Better luck hatching eggs.” Gifts must be claimed manually — “I can claim it because it's not going to use it automatically.”
Claim chest
A “CLAIM” chest near spawn refills over time.
Boost duration and expiry
The clearest duration figure is 10 minutes for 2x Skill boosts, reported for both a claimed gift ("10 minutes. Oh, double the skill") and a potion ("2x skill potion here to use for 10 more minutes here"), which was still running later in the same session ("We got 6 minutes left on the skill potion"). Boost chips count down live, and boosts visibly expire: "Okay, so we lost. We lost the boost." Expiry has a measurable cost — one capture shows gains dropping from 20k to 11k once the double power ran out. One 2x Skill chip carried 18m24s of remaining time even though 10-minute boosts are the repeated report, so durations may differ by boost source or tier, and no full duration table per boost type is published. Read each chip's own countdown as the truth and recheck durations after balance updates.
Combining boosts: overlapping uptime, no documented stacking formula
Simultaneous boost use is real, but stacking math isn't. Observed co-activity: one session kept hatching eggs right after rebirths, so pet boosts and the rebirth multiplier were active together; a 2x Skill boost and a 2x Win boost were activated in the same session; and one run kept a 2x skill boost running through rebirths ("I see double the skill... for 10 minutes we can rebirth by the way... Oh, but I still have double the ski"). What is not established anywhere in-game: whether timed boosts combine additively or multiplicatively, whether two same-type boosts extend duration or multiplier, or how timed boosts interact with Friend Boost. Treat combining as observed overlapping uptime, not a confirmed combined multiplier — and verify any pairing's total effect against your own gain numbers before relying on it.
